Mateusz Godzisz

Mateusz Godzisz has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Mateusz started their career in 2008 as a Trainee and scientific employee at Nofima Mat, where they conducted technological studies and developed new methods for examining reindeer meat. Mateusz then worked as a Sales Representative at Diagnostica a.s. Spółka Akcyjna oddział w Polsce, where they gained new clients and managed administrative activities. Mateusz then joined the Research and Development Centre Novasome Sp. z o.o. as a R&D Manager's Assistant and later as a Project Optimization Specialist.

In 2014, Mateusz joined Polpharma as a Project Manager in the R&D Department, where they were responsible for drug substances R&D project management and gained extensive knowledge about the pharmaceutical industry. Mateusz then became the Project Management Team Manager, leading a team of colleagues and implementing and sustaining project management standards. In 2019, they were promoted to the position of Head of API BU PMO and Operational Excellence Team, overseeing the project management team's performance and deploying an Operational Excellence program within the API Business Unit. Currently, Mateusz holds the position of Head of API BU PMO and Digitalization, responsible for the implementation governance of the API Business Unit Strategy.

Mateusz Godzisz earned a Master's degree in Project Manager from Wrocław University of Economics from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) and a Master's degree (MSc) in Biotechnology - Molecular Biotechnology and Biocatalysis from Wrocław University of Technology from 2003 to 2008. Additionally, they hold a certification in First Certificate in English (Level 1 ESOL) from the University of Cambridge in 2003.
