HANS BERGMAN - MBA

Hans Bergman MBA has worked in various roles across the consumer goods industry. In 1997, they began their career as an Area Sales Manager at Gul Watersports Ltd, where they launched GUL watches and apparel in the USA and Canada. In 1999, they took on the role of Export Manager at Brio, where they were responsible for distributors in 45 countries. In 2003, Bergman was sent to Tokyo by the Board of Directors to establish a BRIO subsidiary, taking on the P&L ownership of BRIO Japan. In 2005, they were hired by a private equity firm as Sales Director of BRIO AB, where they overhauled the business plan, restructured the organization, and launched BRIO at major retailers. From 2012 to 2017, Bergman was Managing Director of KJUS North America, where they grew Canadian sales by 53% and revamped the sales force. Finally, from 2017 to 2018, they were Business Development Manager at PROPELEVATE Business Development, where they guided a global private equity firm in a $260 million acquisition and planned and launched European fashion and sporting goods brands in the USA and Canada. In 2018, Bergman took on the role of Director Commercial Operations - North America at Polygiene.

Hans Bergman has a rich and varied education history. HANS obtained their High School Degree from Gullstrandsskolan in the field of Economics between 1985 and 1987. HANS then attended the Swedish Royal Army Leadership Academy, where they earned a Platoon Leader certification in Kristianstad P6 in 1987-1988. In 1990-1992, they obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Grand Canyon University in the field of Business Administration, Management and Operations. HANS then obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of San Diego in the field of Marketing in 1992-1993. In 1994, they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Hong Kong in the field of International Management (Asian Management). Finally, they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of San Diego in the field of Business Management in 1994-1995. Additionally, Hans Bergman has obtained two certifications: a Shotokan Karate Brown Belt from the Shotokan Karate-do International Federation in 1983, and a 2nd Lieutenant Reconnaissance Platoon Leader certification from the Swedish Armed Forces in 1987.
