Philipp Weiling

Philipp Weiling has a diverse work experience. Philipp currently holds the position of Director, Business Development EMEA at Polygon Labs, a leading platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Business Development Europe & Africa at Polygon Labs. In 2020, they were a web3 investor. Before joining Polygon Labs, Philipp worked at JUUL Labs as the Head of Key Account, where they managed the German retail channel and developed strategic partnerships. Philipp also has experience in international business development at BORCO-Marken-Import Matthiesen GmbH & Co. KG. Philipp started their career at Diageo and Merck KGaA, gaining experience in key account management and commercial planning. Philipp also had internships at Angermann M&A International GmbH and UPM - The Biofore Company.

Philipp Weiling completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Finance, General at Esade from 2010 to 2011. In 2010, they also attended the Doing business in China program at the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2009, Philipp obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Business Administration and Economics from Universität Passau. In 2008, they also studied at the University of Sydney, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
