Florence Huynh

VP of Innovation at Polymateria

Florence oversees the management of various R&D projects dedicated to the design, development and testing of plastics containing Biotransformation technology. Additionally, she manages the network of external third-party laboratories for the independent certification of Polymateria's technology. She also handles Polymateria's portfolio of external funding application.

Florence graduated from the INP-ENSIACET engineering school in Toulouse France before carrying out a PhD on developing novel methodologies for the chemoenzymatic synthesis of sesquiterpenes at Cardiff university. She developed expertise at the interface between chemistry, biology and engineering and brought her experience in chemistry and understanding of biochemistry to Polymateria to develop cutting edge techniques to study the biodegradation of plastics containing Polymateria technology.
