Alexandre Ferreira Benevides

Alexandre Ferreira Benevides is a seasoned professional in research and project management, currently serving as a Research Infrastructure Advisor and Manager of LESIAQ at Polytechnique Montréal since July 2016. With a strong background in composites manufacturing from previous roles as Vice-President of R&T at ERFT Composites and Manager of Labo CGD at École Polytechnique de Montréal, Alexandre has demonstrated expertise in agile project management, team leadership, R&D management, and automation processes. Alexandre holds a Master’s degree in Composite Injection Moulding and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Aerospace from Polytechnique Montréal, complemented by foundational studies in Sciences and Music at Cégep Marie-Victorin.
