Sunny Yasser

Sunny Yasser is currently a PhD student at Polytechnique Montréal since August 2024. Prior experience includes roles at Cadence Design Systems from May 2021 to October 2024 as a Software Engineer-2 and Software Engineer-1 in R&D, and a Technology Analyst at Citi from August 2020 to May 2021. Sunny also worked as a researcher in the Digital System Architecture and Design Group at DCE from October 2017 to August 2020, focusing on computational neuroscience and hardware implementations of recurrent neural networks and LSTMs. Additional internships include a Young Technical Leader Intern at Airtel in June 2019, a Data Science Intern at Aha! Loans, IIM Lucknow in mid-2018, and participation as a Student Affiliate at Delhi Technological University from November 2017 to January 2018. Sunny holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering, completed in 2020.
