Amy MacDonald, CNM, MSN

Amy MacDonald, CNM, MSN has a diverse and extensive work experience. Amy is currently serving as the Director of Group Care at Pomelo Care since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Duke University Health System for 22 years. During their time there, they held the position of Certified Nurse Midwife from November 2013 to November 2021. Amy also served as the Director of Duke Midwifery Service from August 1999 to November 2013. In addition, Amy worked as a Consultant at the Centering Healthcare Institute from January 2008 to May 2021. Amy had a brief stint as a Faculty Member at Duke University School of Medicine from July 2014 to June 2016.

Amy MacDonald, CNM, MSN, obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Antioch College in the years 1979 to 1984. Later, from 1989 to 1991, they pursued their Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a specialization in Midwifery at Yale University.
