Benjamin Entrekin has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and fire protection compliance. Benjamin began their career as an Engineering Intern at Robert Bosch in 1997. Shortly after, they joined Prime Engineering as a Project Manager, where they worked from 1997 to 2010. Benjamin then moved on to Kinder Morgan, Inc., where they served as a Senior Fire Protection Engineer from 2010 to 2017. Following their time at Kinder Morgan, Benjamin joined Pond & Company, where they held various roles including Senior Fire Protection Engineer, Fire Protection Compliance in Oil & Gas, Technical Director in Energy, and currently serves as the Program Director for Commercial Energy. Their tenure at Pond & Company began in 2017 and they continue to contribute to the company's success.

Benjamin Entrekin obtained a BSME in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Fluid and Thermal Systems from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1995 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed their College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program at Thomson High School from 1991 to 1995, earning a High School Diploma. Additionally, Benjamin Entrekin holds a Professional Engineer certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers, obtained in March 2017. Benjamin also has additional certifications in fire protection, including being an NFPA Certified Fire Protection Specialist. Benjamin Entrekin is also licensed as a Professional Engineer in the states of California, Georgia, and Illinois.
