Paul Jukes, PhD PE MBA CEng CMgr FIMarEST FIMechE FCMI has a diverse and extensive work experience in the energy sector. Paul is currently an Associate Principal and Director of Engineering at Pond & Company, where they oversee all engineering activities within the Energy pillar. Previously, Paul served as the Director of Engineering for the Energy Group at Pond & Company, where they led a team of 170 people and managed projects in various areas such as Oil & Gas, Fueling, RMMR, Power, and Integrity.

Before joining Pond & Company, Paul founded and served as the CEO of The Jukes Group, a consultancy firm specializing in the energy sector. The company offered a range of services in Technology & Engineering, Leadership & Motivation, Teaching & Education, R&D, and Charitable Causes.

Prior to that, Paul worked as a Principal Engineer at Kiefner and Associates, Inc., where they focused on Fitness-for-Service evaluations of onshore pipelines. Paul also spent a significant part of their career at Wood, where they held various leadership positions, including Group Managing Director of MCS Kenny and President of MCS Kenny. Their responsibilities at Wood included managing large teams, overseeing services such as risers, floating systems, software, drilling & wells, and advanced engineering.

Paul's earlier experience includes roles as a Pipeline Manager and Advanced Engineering Group Manager at J P Kenny, Inc., and a Principal Engineer at J P Kenny, Ltd. During this time, they worked on multiple pipeline projects, including offshore installations and analysis.

Paul began their career as a Principal Engineer at KW Ltd, a part of the Petrofac group, and also served as a Senior Engineer at European Marine Contractors.

Overall, Paul Jukes has a wealth of experience in engineering, project management, and leadership roles within the energy industry, with a strong focus on pipeline integrity and advanced engineering solutions.

Paul Jukes has had an extensive education history. Paul obtained their PhD in Structural Engineering from the University of Sussex in the period from 1989 to 1997. Following that, from 2004 to 2010, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The Open University. Most recently, they completed a Master's Degree in International Masters In Practicing Management (IMPM) from McGill University between 2015 and 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Paul Jukes has obtained numerous certifications and memberships to professional organizations. These include being a Professional Engineer (PE) accredited by NCEES, a member of ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers), NACE International, and the Project Management Institute. Paul is also a Chartered Manager (CMgr) with the Chartered Management Institute and a Fellow of the Energy Institute (FEI). Paul Jukes holds the title of Fellow of Chartered Management Institute (FCMI) and Fellow of the Energy Institute (FEI). Paul is also a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FIMechE) and a Fellow of The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (FIMarEST). Paul Jukes has certifications as a Chartered Marine Engineer (CMarEng), a Chartered Engineer (CEng), and a European Engineer (Eur Ing). Furthermore, they have completed the 8-Week Dale Carnegie Course: Skills for Success, and obtained additional certifications such as the Fundamentals of Arctic Engineering from the University of Alaska Anchorage and the Texas Society of Professional Engineers accreditation from the Texas Society of Professional Engineers.
