Paul Cooper-James M.A., B.A., P.G.C.E.

Paul Cooper-James M.A., B.A., P.G.C.E. has a diverse work experience in the field of media composition and music education. Paul is currently working as a Media Composer for Songtradr, Inc since January 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Media Composer for Pond5 starting from April 2019. From September 2018, they worked as a Production Media Composer at Music Gateway. In addition, Paul has also worked as a Media Production Composer for their own self-employed venture since September 2017. Paul has contributed as a Production Music Composer for SoundCloud and AudioSparx.

Paul has also been associated with Hereford Cathedral and the voluntary choir as a Tenor since September 2010. Paul served as the Head of Music at The Bishop of Hereford's Bluecoat School from September 1990 to August 2017, where they managed a large music department, coordinated various music ensembles, organized concerts, and mentored music teacher trainees. Additionally, they represented the County Music Hub as the High School Representative at Encore Enterprises from September 2012 to August 2017. Paul has also contributed articles as an Article Contributor for Rhinegold Publishing Ltd from September 2008 to August 2012.

Paul Cooper-James holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and Religious Studies from the University of London, which they obtained from 1981 to 1984. In 1988 to 1989, they pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with a focus on Music Education and Religious Education from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd. Later, from 2000 to 2005, Paul pursued a Master of Arts degree in Educational Management, specializing in Intrinsic and Extrinsic Motivation, from the University of Worcester, earning a Merit in their studies.
