Chelsea Kelly has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Chelsea started their career at Leeds University Union in 2008 as a Bartender. In 2010, they worked as a Waitress at Las Iguanas. Following this, they joined Best Employment Services LTD as a Claims and Reconciliation Administrator, where they prepared monthly claims and financial reports. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Helpline Advisor at StepChange Debt Charity, providing emergency advice and participating in department projects. Chelsea then joined Victim Support in 2013, initially as a Victim Care Officer, offering emotional support and completing necessary documentation. Later, in 2014, they became an International Visitors Advocate, working on a project to support tourists affected by crime. Their next position was with Poplar HARCA, where they started as an ASB Support Case Officer in 2015, eventually progressing to Safeguarding Team Leader, Safeguarding Manager, and finally, Head of Community Safeguarding in 2018.
Chelsea Kelly attended the University of Leeds from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology, with a focus on Law. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained certifications in Independent Domestic Violence Advisory from SafeLives in April 2018, and in MHFA Standard from Mental Health First Aid England (MHFA) Community Interest Company in May 2016.
