Partner Marketing Manager

From billion-dollar brands to regional leaders and non-profits, you will activate, scale, and nurture relationships with Popmenu’s partners to fuel growth for our business and the industry we serve. In collaboration with our Director of Channel Sales, you will develop and execute marketing strategies across channels to deliver quality inbound leads—and work closely with Sales and Rev Ops to ensure systems and processes are running smoothly to capitalize on opportunities. You will work closely with internal and external teams to stay top-of-mind with partners, provide sales enablement assets, secure participation in partner events, and share success stories.     Reporting to the head of Marketing with a dotted line to the Director of Channel Sales, this role requires strong communications skills, technical know-how, and a roll-up-your-sleeves approach to establish long-standing, mutually beneficial relationships. 

What's On Your Plate

  • Drive demand through ongoing partnership marketing
  • Work with Director of Channel Sales to build lead generation programs that scale and then take the reins on executing
  • Nurture relationships at every stage of the partnership journey: co-plan, execute and scale co-marketing programs
  • Create a scalable recognition program for top-performing partner reps
  • Own the partner event schedule to ID opportunities for Popmenu to be present Track results and continually optimize - Assess partner lead health and contribution to new customer revenue
  • Own the reporting, analytics and workflows (marketing lead gen through to sales) to assess partner and Popmenu effectiveness
  • Co-present results and recommendations with the Director of Channel Sales to to the sales team and larger organization Keep partners updated on Popmenu products and the value we deliver - Manage brand and product education and training opportunities for all partner types
  • Ensure partners have the necessary sales enablement materials to be successful in bringing Popmenu to their customers/members
  • Proactively build regular education and learning sessions for partner representatives Be the voice of our partners - Evangelize the partnership program internally and externally
  • Provide training and sales enablement on new and existing partners Generate content - Working independently and with members of the marketing and content teams, create content that motivates partners to utilize Popmenu to achieve their goals and hit their KPI’s
  • Take the lead on writing partnership content
  • Create reporting and recaps for select partners on promotions and quarterly results Build collaboration - Collect input from key stakeholders, especially sales, to build collaboration across departments and strengthen execution when creating new programs and sharing results during/post campaigns
  • Work with the Director of Channel Sales to optimize the execution of partner events across multiple teams, managing the ROI and improving communication and reporting

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Ability to work within systems like Salesforce, Salesloft, Looker and other tools to setup process, systems and reporting to maximize lead generation, lead follow up and ultimately sales
  • Ability to translate Popmenu benefits into language that resonates with partners (what’s in it for them)
  • Sales focused and comfortable working collaboratively with the sales organization to produce measurable results
  • Collaborative while comfortable leading projects and new initiatives
  • Influential leadership skills--ability to foster creativity, collaboration and consensus both inside and outside of your area of ownership.
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal, written, and visual) with the ability to influence and build consensus.
  • Willingness to be hands on--we all have to lean in. We should be constantly looking for opportunities to impactPopmenu’s growth and the success of our clients.
  • Business acumen--you understand how different teams’ efforts impact Popmenuand partners and take into account budget considerations when assessing new revenue opportunities with Director of Channel Sales.
  • A strong sense of curiosity--the ability to see potential in an idea/product/feature and know how and where to present that as an opportunity to partners.
  • Start-up ready--you have the confidence and problem-solving skills to be effective in situations with limited information.
  • You have a passion for restaurants, dining out, and helping independent restaurant owners grow their business and solidify their position as staples of our communities.
