Roshan Choxi

Roshan Choxi has worked in the software engineering field since 2010. Roshan began their career as a Software Engineer at merge.fm, where they worked with the founders to build a platform in Rails and CouchDB. In 2011, they took a Software Engineer role at Groupon, where they built and implemented tools for lead tracking, advertising analytics, and other marketing projects and campaigns. Roshan was promoted to the team lead of Groupon's first social team during the few months up to their IPO. In 2017, they moved to Ink & Switch, where they worked with the cofounders of Heroku on experimental research in end user computing. Roshan developed proof-of-concept applications using a new decentralized P2P datastore and contributed to its API design. In 2018, they took on the role of Engineering Manager at Wyzant, where they led the engineering team for the HigherEd and B2B product lines. Roshan contributed to several devops and process improvements. In 2021, Roshan took a Software Engineer role at PopSQL.

Roshan Choxi completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended the Illinois Math and Science Academy.
