Mike Patnode

Mike Patnode is the current Vice President of Engineering at POPSUGAR. Prior to their current position, Patnode served as the Software Engineering Director at Okta, Inc from July 2020 to November 2021. Before that, they were the VP of Engineering at POPSUGAR from May 2012 to March 2020 where they grew an engineering team of 12 developers to 40, replaced ad-hoc development system with CICD, testing and QE processes, and scaled traffic by 4X. Mike has also served as a Technical Advisor at RSportz, Inc from February 2007 to April 2013 and at Centrify Corporation from April 2004 to February 2011.

Mike Patnode has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.

Their manager is Brian Sugar, Founder & CEO. They work with Lisa Sugar - Founder & President, Lily Kohls - VP, People & Places, and Sean Macnew - COO & CFO.
