Rosemary Kamwendo has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Rosemary is currently the Head of Marketing at Population Services International since May 2021. Before that, they worked at AstraZeneca as the Marketing & Commercial Excellence Director for Sub Sahara Africa from August 2017 to January 2021. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at Adcock Ingram, including Head of Strategic Marketing for Sub Sahara from November 2012 to July 2017, and Business Unit Manager from January 2010 to October 2012. Prior to that, they worked at Cadbury Adams as the Regional Category Manager for the Middle East & Africa from July 2008 to April 2009. Rosemary also had a significant tenure at Procter & Gamble, where they served as a Brand Manager from January 1999 to July 2008. Rosemary later became the Regional Business Manager for Africa, Middle East, Eastern Europe from October 2002 to January 2006. Rosemary started their career as a Business Manager at Gillette.
Rosemary Kamwendo attended Kamuzu Academy from 1981 to 1985, where they obtained their GCE A levels in Mathematics, Economics, and Geology. Rosemary then furthered their education at the University of Malawi from 1985 to 1989, earning a BCom in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Economics.
