Brandon Tyler, CPA, CPCU has a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with extensive experience in strategic planning and budgeting. Brandon has held various leadership roles throughout their career, including Head of Insurance Finance at Porch Group, where they led the strategic planning process for a large P&C insurance business. Prior to that, they served as Head of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis at Leaf Home, where they implemented revenue models, KPI dashboarding, and ROI modeling for new business opportunities. Brandon also served as Senior Director of FP&A at Root Inc., where they built the company's first annual strategic planning process and created standard reporting processes. Earlier in their career, they held positions at GEICO, including Director of Corporate FP&A, where they led company-wide strategic planning and budget processes, implemented statistical forecasting models, and automated allocation processes. Brandon also served as a Senior Project Manager, Underwriting Manager, and participated in the Emerging Leader Program at GEICO. Brandon began their career as a Financial Analyst at UPS.
Brandon Tyler, CPA, CPCU obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance, General from Georgia State University in 2010. In 2012, they obtained a P&C License from the Georgia Department of Insurance. Brandon later attained the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) certification from The Institutes in 2019. Brandon is currently in the process of obtaining the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the VBOA - Virginia Board of Accountancy, expected to be completed in 2023.
