Roy Andersen

Roy Andersen has extensive work experience in various engineering and management roles. Roy is currently working at Porex as the PTFE Director of Sales since January 2020. Prior to this, they were the Business Development Manager at Porex from January 2016 to January 2020. From May 2012 to November 2015, Roy worked as a Regional Sales Manager at Porex, and from September 2010 to May 2012, they held the position of Manufacturing Engineer.

Before joining Porex, Roy worked at Cummins Inc. as a Manufacturing Engineer (Contract) from November 2009 to September 2010. During this time, they managed the development and relocation of automated machines for a Tier one TS certified automotive supplier.

From July 2008 to May 2009, Roy worked at Chart Industries as a Manufacturing Engineer. Here, they implemented various process improvements and lean manufacturing techniques across multiple divisions. Roy also conducted ISO 9001 internal audits and led a team to root cause welding failures.

Prior to that, Roy worked at WABCO from June 2005 to July 2008 as a Manufacturing Engineer, Plant Safety Manager, and Engineer. Roy also gained early experience as an Intern at Marten Sprocket & Gear from January 2005 to April 2005.

Roy Andersen attended Georgia Southern University from 2000 to 2005. Roy obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Management during this time.
