Buai Tut has worked at multiple organizations in different roles. Buai began their work experience in 2011 as a Public Safety Officer at the City of Irvine, where they served until April 2014. In May 2014, they joined the Port of San Diego as a Community Service Officer. Then, in September 2017, Buai became a Sergeant in the Army National Guard.

Buai Tut completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Intercultural/Multicultural and Diversity Studies from Hope International University, from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2007, Buai studied Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies at New Mexico Military Institute. Presently, Buai is pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Criminal Justice/ Homeland Security at Purdue University Global, which began in 2020 and will end in 2022. Additionally, Buai has earned several certifications, including being on the Chancellor's List in June 2021 and April 2022 terms at Purdue University Global. Buai also possesses the Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) certification obtained from the United States Army in July 2019.
