Ronald Powell

Ronald Powell began their work experience in 1988 as a reporter for the Santa Barbara News-Press, where they worked until 1990. In 1991, they joined the San Diego Union-Tribune as a reporter and remained in that role until 2008. In 2013, Powell started working at the Port of San Diego as a Program Manager in the Government and Civic Relations department.

Ronald Powell studied at The University of Texas at Austin from 1973 to 1977, earning a Bachelor's degree in Journalism.
