Sanjith Gowda Prasannakumar

Sanjith Gowda Prasannakumar has been working in the security operations field since 2012. Their work experience includes positions at IBM INDIA PVT LTD as an IT Security Professional, where they were responsible for monitoring multiple security incidents using SIEM tool (QRadar), performing vulnerability assessments on a monthly and quarterly basis based on log reports, and monitoring firewall and IDS/IPS systems. Sanjith then moved to Tata Consultancy Services as a Systems Engineer (SOC Analyst). In 2017, they joined Cognizant as an Associate - Projects (Cyber Security Analyst). From 2018 to 2022, they worked at Optiv Inc as a Principal Threat Analyst and Senior Threat Analyst. Currently, they are a Security Operations Manager at Port53.

Sanjith Gowda Prasannakumar obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Visvesvaraya Technological University between 2007 and 2011. Sanjith is currently enrolled at Auden Institute of Education. Sanjith has also obtained a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in December 2019, and is expected to obtain a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA in December 2022. Sanjith is also in the process of obtaining an ISO 27001 Lead Implementer - Information Security Certification from BSI.
