Heleen Pothuis

Heleen Pothuis has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Heleen began their career as a Laboratory Assistant at Leids Cytologisch Laboratorium BV in 2006 and worked there until May 2012. Heleen then pursued their education and completed MSc Research Internships at Utrecht University from September 2013 to August 2014, and at CSIRO from September 2015 to March 2016.

In 2017, Heleen worked as a Researcher in Value-Based Health Care at UZ Gent from January to June. Heleen then joined Ordina as a Software Developer, Blockchain, and Technical Consultant from January 2018 to June 2020.

Heleen gained further experience in the banking and financial sector as a Software Developer in Banking as a Service at ABN AMRO Clearing Bank from June 2019 to August 2020. Heleen subsequently assumed the role of Business Developer in Market Infrastructure from February to May 2023, and then Business Developer in Banking as a Service from September 2020 to January 2023.

Most recently, Heleen joined Portbase as a Business Analyst in June 2023.

Alongside their professional career, Heleen worked as a guide at Sonnenborgh - museum & sterrenwacht from an unknown start date to 2016.

After completing their bachelor's degree, Heleen continued their education at Utrecht University, undertaking a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Molecular and Cellular Life Sciences from 2013 to 2016.
