Lingxiao Xia

Lingxiao Xia has a wealth of experience in software engineering. In 2021, they joined ByteDance as a Software Engineering Manager. From 2017 to 2021, they were Co-Founder & Advisor and Co-Founder & CTO at Portcast, where they made global supply chains more predictive and dynamic. In 2017, they were an EFSG2 Fellow at Entrepreneur First, helping to bring together the world's most ambitious people to build startups from scratch. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at CompareGlobalGroup as a Senior Backend Developer and a Backend Developer, responsible for control panel development for backend micro services and setting up Salesforce Marketing Cloud. In 2016, they were a Data Analyst at Sagit Solutions Limited. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Consultant and Software Engineer Intern at Zegal. In 2014, they were a Software Engineer Intern at ASTRI, where they created an automated testing suite for 4G mobile network basestation protocols.

Lingxiao Xia obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Information Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong between 2010 and 2016. Lingxiao also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Information Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong between 2006 and 2010.
