Iain McKenzie

Iain McKenzie has a diverse work experience in various industries. Iain is currently working as a Junior Full Stack Engineer at PortF since September 2022. Prior to this, Iain was the Director of MKNZ Trading Ltd since March 2020.

Before entering the trading field, Iain worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Atlas Copco UK & Ireland from January 2018 to November 2020. In this role, they were responsible for designing bespoke compressor packages for clients and ensuring they meet specifications and performance requirements.

Iain also gained experience as a Technical Assistant at the Advanced Forming Research Centre, University of Strathclyde from June 2015 to September 2015. Here, they designed and analyzed experimental die pairs for investigating tribological behavior during superplastic forming.

Additionally, Iain worked as part of the slope team at Snow Factor from September 2014 to March 2015, and as bar staff at G1 Group PLC from July 2014 to October 2014.

Iain McKenzie completed their education in Mechanical Engineering with International Study. Iain obtained their Master's Degree from the University of Strathclyde, where they studied from 2011 to 2016. In 2016, they also pursued further studies in the same field at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Additionally, Iain McKenzie earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University in 2013-2014.

In terms of certifications, Iain McKenzie has obtained several qualifications. Iain received a Full Stack Engineer certification from Codecademy in July 2022, a Divemaster (DM) certification from PADI in April 2022, and a Snowboard Instructor certification from the British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI) in July 2010. Furthermore, they hold a First Aid certification, although the institution and exact dates of obtaining it are not provided.
