Layla Lavender Sassone

Layla Lavender Sassone is an experienced educator and marketing professional with a diverse background in English language instruction and digital marketing. Currently serving as an ELL Educator for Intensive English to New-Arrival Refugees at Portland Adult Education since January 2017, Layla has also been a TESOL ESL Instructor since March 2011. Past positions include ESL Instructor at EC English New York and various roles in marketing at Time Inc., Digitas, and Citigroup, where Layla held titles such as Vice President and Marketing Manager. Layla holds a Master of Education in T.E.S.O.L from Hunter College, an MBA in Marketing and International Business from Baruch College, and a BA in Communication from the University of Delaware.
