Jon Isaacs

Jon Isaacs has a diverse work experience in various public affairs and communication roles. Jon is currently the Executive Vice President of Public Affairs at the Portland Metro Chamber, a role they have held since January 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Uber as a Public Affairs Manager from April 2016 until January 2019. From January 2013 to April 2016, Jon was the Chief of Communications & Public Affairs at Portland Public Schools. Jon also served as the Executive Director at the Oregon League of Conservation Voters from October 2009 to May 2011. Before that, Jon worked as the State Director at the Office of United States Senator, Jeff Merkley, from November 2008 to September 2009. Lastly, they served as the Campaign Manager for Jeff Merkley's U.S. Senate Campaign from 2007 to 2008.

Jon Isaacs completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government at Oregon State University from 1992 to 1996. Jon also obtained additional certifications in various areas, including "Concussion in Sports" from the National Federation of State High School Associations in July 2021 and October 2019, "SafeSport Trained" from the U.S. Center for SafeSport in October 2019, and "Preventing Workplace Harassment" from Emtrain in June 2018 and June 2017.
