Thomas Desousa

Thomas DeSousa has extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Thomas began their career at Hilton Worldwide in 1990, where they served as a General Manager for over a decade. Thomas then joined Hilton Hotels as a GM until 2003. Following that, they worked at Nobel Investments as the General Manager of Crowne Plaza Atlanta Buckhead, where they achieved a significant increase in revenue. Thomas later joined IHG as a Regional Director, responsible for hotel performance support and revenue growth strategies. In 2011, they became the Vice President of Sales and Operations at F and F Realty/ Hospitality. In 2014, they joined Portman Holdings as the Senior Vice President of Asset Management and Operations, overseeing various assets and teams globally. Thomas worked closely with development and investor partners, achieving impressive operating expenses and occupancy rates. In 2018, they joined Ace Parking as the Eastern Regional Vice President. In 2022, they became the Vice President of Operations at Aperture Hotels. Currently, they are the Director of Business Development at Portman Architects.

Thomas DeSousa obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Business, from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
