Hao Chang

Hao Chang has extensive work experience in engineering and leadership roles. Hao is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Blocto (portto) since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at SeaMoney as an Expert Engineer from January 2022 to October 2022 and as the Tech Lead of the ShopeePay Team from April 2021 to October 2022. Hao also has experience as a Senior Engineer in the Payment Team at Shopee from January 2020 to March 2021. Hao Chang co-founded Byzantine Lab and held the position of Co-Founder and VP of Engineering from June 2019 to September 2019. Hao also served as the VP of Engineering at COBINHOOD from August 2018 to June 2019, where they took on roles as Backend Director from February 2018 to August 2018 and Backend Developer from September 2017 to February 2018. Additionally, they worked as an iOS App Developer Engineer at SendBest Technology Co., Ltd. from March 2016 to August 2017. Prior to their engineering career, Hao Chang served as a Youth Ambassador for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ROC from April 2013 to November 2013, where they represented Taiwan Youth in cultural exchanges with Fiji, managed the team's fanpage, and directed activities to promote the Youth Ambassador Program.

Hao Chang obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from National Tsing Hua University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Hao then pursued a Master's Degree in Physics at National Taiwan University from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, in 2015 and 2016, Hao participated in an exchange program at Université de Technologie de Troyes, focusing on Physical Sciences.
