Mimi Chin has over 10 years of work experience, beginning with an Exchange Student role at Rotary International in 2010. In 2013, they were an Retail and Sales Intern at Felimous Handmade Accessory, where they reorganized the website layout and increased brand awareness by attending 5 art fairs in different cities. In 2014, they were an Office Assistant at Leader Financial Holdings LTD, where they translated documents, filed data, and answered incoming calls and emails. In 2015, they were the Founder of Jemi, where they developed business models, created online selling strategies, identified products for target markets, and managed social media accounts. In 2016, they were a Marketing Intern at MessageMakers. From 2017-2021, they were at InQuartik, where they held two roles: Senior Marketing Specialist and Marketing Specialist. In their Senior Marketing Specialist role, they created SEO strategies and tactics to increase organic traffic, optimized content, and built rich snippets results from scratch. In their Marketing Specialist role, they created compelling content, collaborated cross-functionally, and planned and executed outreach projects. Currently, they are a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist at portto.

Mimi Chin attended Rex Putnam High School from 2010 to 2011 and then Columbus School for Girls from 2011 to 2013. Mimi then earned a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business from 2013 to 2016. In 2018, they obtained a Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) certification from Google.
