Jonathan Banks

Jonathan Banks has a diverse work experience in the field of digital development and management. Jonathan has held positions such as Head of Digital Development at Portwest, where they managed the eCommerce portal and a globally distributed team of developers. As a Program Manager at Lionbridge, they oversaw a large AI program and managed internal systems development. Jonathan has also worked as a Digital Consultant at JB Consulting, Head of IT and Digital Development at MetropolitanRepublic, and Head of Digital Product Management at Times Media Groups. Jonathan has extensive experience in managing digital platforms, developing new business opportunities, and implementing eCommerce models. Prior to that, Jonathan held various roles in technology management, project management, and IT support at companies such as 24.com, Times Media Groups, Systems Interface, and Internet Office Parks.

Jonathan Banks attended King Edward VII High School from 1992 to 1995 and completed up to Std 9. Their studies at the high school included English, Mathematics, Geography, Science, Biology, Computer Studies, and Latin.

In 1996, Jonathan attended Damelin and obtained a Matric degree. Their field of study during this time included English, Mathematics, Science, Geography, Biology, and Computer Science.

In 1997, they went to Damelin Computer School, where they earned a Diploma in PC Engineering. Their studies focused on PC Hardware, Desktop & Server operating systems, and computer theory (binary, hexadecimal maths).
