Leta Chrisman

Leta Chrisman has a diverse work experience history. Leta started their career in 2016 as a Chef/Consultant at Griff's. Leta then became an Executive Chef at Montage Grill, where they successfully developed the concept and menu for a Mediterranean restaurant. In 2017, Leta worked as a Head Recruiter at Hired Knives, Inc., where they launched a temporary staffing program and recruited over 30 professionals in the hospitality industry. Leta later became the Manager-Savory Foods at Avalon International Breads in 2018. In 2019, Leta joined Plum Market as an IT Support Specialist and later transitioned to the role of a Buyer for the Prepared Foods department. At Flatiron School in 2020, Leta pursued their education and gained practical experience through various projects, including developing a spell checker application. Leta then worked as a Technical Support Engineer at Narvar in 2021. In 2022, Leta joined Weedmaps as a Support Engineer. Currently, Leta is working as a Technical Support Engineer at POSaBIT since 2023.

Leta Chrisman has pursued education in various fields throughout their life. Leta attended Oakland University and earned a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature. Following that, they attended Oakland Community College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management. Leta furthered their education at Wayne State University, where they completed a Master of Arts degree in Theatre. Currently, Leta is enrolled at the Flatiron School, focusing on Computer Software Engineering.
