Hyungjin Song

Hyungjin Song is an experienced professional in LNG procurement and marketing, currently serving as Head of Department and General Manager at Posco International Corporation since July 2020. Previously at Korea Gas Corporation from August 2009 to June 2020, Hyungjin held multiple roles, including General Manager overseeing price reviews and the adjustment of long-term LNG procurement strategies in collaboration with the government. Notably, Hyungjin was the Commercial Lead for the LNG Canada project and managed deals for DSLNG and Senoro acquisitions. Early in a career at Korea Gas Corporation, Hyungjin contributed to various facets of LNG procurement and shipping, negotiating significant contracts and managing vessel charters. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Energy Trade and Finance from Cass Business School and a bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Hanyang University.
