Andrew Fuhrmann

Andrew Fuhrmann has extensive experience in the renewable energy and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Energy Storage System Design Manager at Positive Energy Solar since April 2018, where responsibilities include designing custom residential PV solar systems. Previously, Andrew held multiple roles at Positive Energy Solar, including Design Manager, Senior Designer, and Design Engineer. In academia, Andrew contributed as an Adjunct Professor at Colorado Mountain College, instructing the Mechanics of Solids course and providing tutoring in math, physics, and engineering. Andrew's technical expertise is further evidenced by a consulting position as a Computational Fluid Dynamics Consultant for Ideas Well Done LLC, where optimization of industrial kitchen vent geometries was achieved. Andrew began a career in research as a Research Intern at 89 North, focusing on redesigning a cleaning vacuum for optic filter manufacturing.
