Baptiste Charnier

Baptiste Charnier began their career in 2012 as a Software Engineer at the University of British Columbia Electrical and Computer Engineering. In 2013, they became a Signal Processing Engineer at CERN. In 2015, they were a Research Engineer at the CEA - Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Machine Learning Engineer & NLP at Biggerpan, where they worked on all the AI workflow used to power Biggerpan's products. Since 2019, they have been a Senior Data Engineer / Software Engineer at Posos, where they are responsible for building a robust and scalable acquisition pipeline to collect and make available various streams of data, designing and implementing data mining algorithms to transform PDF into structured knowledge using machine learning, unifying medical knowledge by understanding and designing a reliable, robust and maintainable data model, and working on implementing best developement practices.

Baptiste Charnier obtained their Diplôme de master sciences et technologies de l'information et de la communication from Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) in 2013. From 2007 to 2013, they earned their Ingénieur from Ecole Supérieur d'Ingénieurs en Electronique et Electrotechnique d'Amiens, specializing in Génie électrique et développement durable.
