Jamie Tebbutt

Jamie Tebbutt has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 16 years. Jamie's most recent position was as the Head of Finance at Post Office Ltd, a role that began in July 2023. Prior to that, Jamie held the position of Head of Finance (Wholesale Operations) at Southern Water from October 2022 to July 2023. Jamie was responsible for driving finance operations and business insight across the Water and Wastewater businesses of the company, as well as leading the delivery of Power BI reporting. Jamie has also worked as a Senior Commercial Finance Manager at Southern Water, a Senior Finance Business Partner at Thames Water, a Finance Delivery Manager at Thames Water, and a Finance Manager at Nationwide Building Society. Additionally, Jamie has previous experience at The Hamble School, the UK Ministry of Defence, Management Accountancy Services (Army), Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), and Logistics Support & Equipment (MOD), where Jamie held various finance and managerial roles.

Jamie Tebbutt holds a Bachelor's Degree in IT and Computing from The Open University, which was obtained from 2000 to 2004. In 1998 to 1999, they attended the School of Electronic and Aeronautical Engineering, where they obtained an HND in Engineering. Jamie then pursued further education in business and finance-related fields. They acquired a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Management, Strategy, Finance, and HR from The Open University Business School from 2007 to 2011. They also completed the CIMA Professional Qualification in Accounting and Finance at The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, they completed the Public Sector Finance Reporting course at CIPFA in 2014. To supplement their education, Jamie has obtained various certifications, such as the Chartered Public Finance Accountant (CPFA), MoR Practitioner Certificate in Risk Management, PRINCE2 Practitioner, and more.
