Hnin Ookhin

Hnin Ookhin is a Machine Learning Researcher at PostEra since March 2023. Prior to that, they were a Research Assistant at Columbia University from October 2021 to December 2022. Hnin also worked as a Machine Learning Research Intern at PostEra from June 2022 to September 2022. Before that, they were an Engineering Program Manager at Apple from March 2019 to June 2021. Hnin's earlier experience includes roles such as Hardware Engineer at Strateos from February 2016 to February 2019, Reliability Engineering Intern at Tesla Motors in 2015, Teaching Assistant at Stanford University from September 2014 to June 2015, and Product Design Intern at Amazon Lab126 from June 2014 to October 2014. Hnin also had internships as a Scene Shop Carpenter at Stanford University Theater and Performance Studies Department from October 2013 to June 2014, and as a Design Intern at Proximity Designs from June 2013 to August 2013, where they assisted with manufacturing and assembly processes and led a survey trip to assess market demand.

Hnin Ookhin began their education journey in 2010 at Stanford University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Hnin successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2014. Eager to further enhance their knowledge in the field, they continued at Stanford and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering, graduating in 2015.

Recently, in 2021, Hnin Ookhin enrolled at Columbia University to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science. Their studies are expected to continue until 2023. Overall, Hnin Ookhin has demonstrated a consistent focus and passion for both Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science, as evidenced by their academic pursuits.
