Melissa Verheyden

Melissa Verheyden has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Melissa is currently working as a Senior Director of Digital Product - News and Information at Postmedia Network Inc. In this role, they oversee various product portfolios and is responsible for strategic roadmap planning and execution. Prior to this, Melissa worked as a Fractional Senior Digital Consultant and Director of Products at Vubble. Melissa also held positions at Mediative, CBC, Bell Canada, and Echoppe, where they gained experience in roles such as Director of Platform Products and Publisher Relations, Senior Manager Partner Development, and Associate Director of Broadcast Product Development. Throughout their career, Melissa has demonstrated a strong focus on digital product development, revenue generation, and technical planning.

Melissa Verheyden completed a Certificate in Data Analytics, Big Data, and Predictive Analytics at The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education at Toronto Metropolitan University from 2020 to 2021. Melissa previously earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where they studied from 1993 to 2000. In 1999, Melissa also briefly studied Engineering at Universidad de Sonora.
