Wouter Danes

Wouter Danes has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Wouter is currently working at PostNL as a Principal Engineer in the BIT E-Commerce department. Prior to this, Wouter worked at Hippo Opensource Project as a Committer for Hippo CMS 7. Wouter also had a role as a Technical Principal at Ordina and served as a Technical Director at Ordina Digital Services, where they were responsible for managing the Digital Services Unit. Before that, they worked as a Platform Architect at Part-up, ING Nederland, and Hinttech Staffing. Wouter also has experience in project management from their time at Sogeti. Additionally, they co-owned a company called X-Connection, where they worked on various IT projects.

Wouter Danes attended Delft University of Technology from 2000 to 2008, where they obtained a certificate in Systems Engineering and Policy Analysis. In 2008, they attended Ohio University for a brief period to receive a certificate in a Business Course. Prior to their university education, Wouter attended Fioretti from 1994 to 1999, where they completed high school with a Gymnasium Beta degree. In addition, Wouter obtained several certifications, including MongoDB for DBAs (M102) and MongoDB for Node.js Developers (M101JS) from MongoDB in 2013. Wouter also became a Certified ScrumMaster through Scrum Alliance in March 2013.
