Allen Cunningham

Allen Cunningham has a diverse work experience in various roles related to data engineering and business intelligence. Their most recent position is as a Data Engineer at Postscript, where they are currently employed. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Warehouse Engineer at Kount for a period of six months, supporting AI and BI teams and contributing to the development of the data product "Data on Demand."

Before joining Kount, Allen served as a Lead Data Engineer at Bookbyte, where they were the company representative in the MECOP internship program and played a role in the selection and mentoring of engineering interns. Allen also worked as a Business Intelligence Developer at Bookbyte, where they created a Redshift Data Warehouse with Power BI reporting and improved the visibility of internal systems through data.

Allen's work experience also includes a role as a Business Intelligence Manager at Rogue Ales & Spirits, where they led analytics throughout the organization by creating automated and self-service reporting using the Microsoft BI Stack. Allen also integrated Salesforce, CRM, and third-party data to drive user adoption and improved the accuracy of sales and production forecasting. Additionally, they briefly worked as a National Sales Analyst at Rogue Ales & Spirits, collecting and analyzing market and operation data to support an international workforce.

Allen started their career at Coca-Cola Refreshments, where they initially worked as an Account Manager and later as a Distribution Supervisor. In their role as a Distribution Supervisor, they managed efficient distribution to a large territory and combined data from vehicle telematics and ERP systems to create effective management reports.

Throughout their career, Allen has demonstrated expertise in data engineering, business intelligence, and analytics, contributing to the success of organizations through their technical skills and leadership capabilities.

Allen Cunningham's education history begins in 2007 when they enrolled at the Oregon Institute of Technology to study Mechanical Engineering. Allen completed their studies in 2009.

After a gap in their education, Allen started pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Management at Western Governors University in 2016. Allen completed this degree in 2021, specializing in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.

Additionally, Allen has obtained several certifications in various fields. In September 2018, they earned certifications in "Capstone: Retrieving, Processing, and Visualizing Data with Python," "Python Data Structures," "Python for Everybody Specialization," "Using Databases with Python," and "Using Python to Access Web Data" from Coursera. In August 2018, they completed the certification for "Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)" from Coursera as well.

Allen also holds certifications in "Responsive Web Design" and "Javascript Algorithms and Data Structures" from freeCodeCamp, which they obtained in December 2019 and January 2020, respectively. Their other certifications include "Hands On Snowflake - WebUI Essentials" from Snowflake acquired in July 2019 and the "SnowPro Core Certification" from Snowflake obtained in April 2020.

Furthermore, Allen has acquired the "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2020. Most recently, they earned the "Postscript Certified Partner" certification from Postscript in June 2021.
