Lauren Rouse

Lauren Rouse has worked in the software engineering field since 2013. Her career began as a QA Engineer and Member Support Analyst at InVivoLink from 2013 to 2014, when the company was acquired by HealthTrust/HCA. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Software Developer and Junior Software Developer at MyHealthDirect. Lauren then went on to become a Junior Instructor at Nashville Software School from 2017 to 2018. After that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Stratasan from 2019 to 2020, where they were responsible for full stack development with a back-end emphasis. In 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer at Built Technologies, where they were involved in full stack development, including React/Redux front-end, in-house component library, Node.js pipeline API layer, and Python SOA and Lambda queue processors. Currently, they work as a Senior Software Engineer and Product Engineer at Postscript.

Lauren Rouse attended Vanderbilt University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelors of Arts with a double major in Philosophy and Medicine Health and Society. Lauren then attended Nashville Software School from 2015 to 2016 to study Web Development. Prior to this, they attended Hinsdale Central High School.
