Abhijeet Mishra is an experienced researcher currently serving as an Associate Research Fellow at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) since January 2023. Concurrently, Abhijeet holds a position as a Guest Scientist and Doctoral Researcher at the PIK - Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, focusing on the implementation of a dynamic forestry sector in the MAgPIE land-use model. Prior experience includes working as a Carbon Intelligence Engineer at Cozero and as a Research and Development Officer at Charoen Pokphand Group Co., Ltd. Abhijeet holds a PhD in Agricultural Sciences from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and another PhD in Planning, Building, and Environment from Technische Universität Berlin.
