Jonas Jägermeyr

Jonas Jägermeyr currently serves as an Associate Research Scientist at both Columbia University in the City of New York and NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies since May 2020, with expertise in food systems, food security, climate change impacts, and crop modeling. Additionally, Jonas recently took on the role of Head of Climate Science at WeatherPromise beginning January 2024. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Scientist/PhD student at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research since 2011 and postdoctoral positions at the University of Chicago and NASA GISS from 2018 to May 2020. Earlier roles include a research exchange and internship at NASA Ames Research Center from 2010 to 2011.
