Sabine Mathesius is a seasoned researcher with significant experience in climate impact and ocean research. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research since December 2021, Mathesius previously held a similar position at Simon Fraser University from December 2019 to November 2021. Mathesius began a research career as a PhD Student at GEOMAR - Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel, where involvement spanned from May 2014 to September 2019. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Geoecology / Environmental Science obtained from Technische Universität Braunschweig between 2007 and 2013.
