Sijmen Duineveld

Sijmen Duineveld is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the PIK - Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research since November 2022. Previously, Sijmen Duineveld worked as a PhD Candidate at the University of Augsburg from November 2013 to December 2018, under the supervision of Burkhard Heer. Prior experience includes serving as a Lecturer and Researcher in Economics at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences from November 2010 to August 2011, where Sijmen Duineveld taught various undergraduate courses including Macroeconomics and Public Finance. Sijmen Duineveld began their professional career as a Young Professional at CPB / Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis from August 2008 to July 2010, and also completed an internship at the Dutch Central Bank in 2007. Sijmen Duineveld holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from the University of Augsburg (2013-2019), as well as two master's degrees in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam, obtained between 2006 and 2008, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics & Business from the same institution (1999-2006).
