Bennett Pickar

Bennett Pickar started their career as a Professional Baseball Player with the Detroit Tigers from June 2012 to January 2015. Bennett then transitioned into the healthcare industry, where they held various roles at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center from January 2015 to September 2019, focusing on internal audit, financial analysis, and performance improvement. Since 2018, they worked at OU Health as a Manager in strategic planning and financial analysis. Currently, Bennett serves as the Sr. Director of Operations at UCHealth since July 2023, with prior roles including Director of Ambulatory Operations, Strategy and Planning, and Administrator of Special Programs.

Bennett Pickar completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at the University of Oklahoma - Price College of Business from 2015 to 2017. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Health Administration (M.H.A.) degree at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center from 2016 to 2019. Bennett also holds certifications in Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt from Creative Insights in 2018 and Certified Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) from the University of Oklahoma in 2015.
