Alex Cardia

Alex Cardia is a skilled software engineer currently employed at Pow.bio since June 2020, previously serving in various research roles including Senior Research Associate and Research Associate. Prior experience includes work as an undergraduate researcher at the Keasling Lab, focusing on recombinant DNA plasmid design and metabolic engineering for the production of valuable compounds. Alex also gained experience as a lifeguard with UC Berkeley's Recreational Sports Marketing Group and was involved with ChemE Car at Berkeley in roles related to battery development and electrical engineering projects. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, completed in 2020, along with studies at College of the Canyons from 2015 to 2017.
