Jay Bhargava

Vice President at Powell Tate

Jay Bhargava has a diverse work experience spanning various government and private organizations. Jay started their career as a Government Affairs Intern at The Glover Park Group in 2015, where they attended think tank events and created policy databases. Jay then worked as a Strategy and Operations Intern at Novartis, contributing to project plans and leading a team for workspace integration. Later, at the National Down Syndrome Society, they wrote a resource guide and collaborated with Congress for the benefit of individuals with Down syndrome. After that, Jay served as an Intern and Scheduler in the offices of different US Representatives. Jay then joined the Clinton Foundation as a Communications Associate, responsible for compiling news clips and drafting written material. Subsequently, Jay worked as a Press Secretary for the US House of Representatives and the United States Senate, where they handled overall communications strategy and secured media interviews. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President at Powell Tate and Weber Shandwick.

Jay Bhargava attended the International School of Basel from 2007 to 2011. From 2011 to 2016, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government at The George Washington University.
