Rebecca Carey has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Rebecca began their career as a Dance Instructor at Steppin' Up Dance Studio from September 2006 to June 2010. Subsequently, they held multiple positions at Penn State Marketing Association, including Assistant of Advertising - Professional Development, Alumni Relations Chair, and Marketing Research Project Manager, from May 2012 to May 2013. Rebecca then joined Penn State Women in Business as an Events Director from September 2012 to September 2013.

In 2013, Rebecca worked as an Online Marketing Intern and SMB Consulting Intern at Surge Business Development from January 2013 to March 2014 and May 2013 to January 2013, respectively. Rebecca then took on the role of Competition Coordinator and Marketing and Media Relations Coordinator at Smeal Case Competition from August 2013 to April 2014.

Rebecca's career in digital marketing started at Marchex, where they were a SEM Account Coordinator from June 2014 to October 2015, before transitioning into the role of Search Marketing Specialist from October 2015 to November 2016. Rebecca started as a Paid Advertising Account Manager from August 2020 to June 2021, then progressed to Associate Director of Paid Media from May 2021 to April 2022. Currently, they hold the role of Director of Paid Media, starting in March 2022.

Rebecca Carey has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marketing with a minor in Information Systems Management from Pennsylvania State University, Main Campus. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Brick Township High School. Rebecca also holds certifications in Google AdWords, including display advertising, mobile advertising, and search advertising, obtained from Google.
