Chick Webb has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Chick started their career at Hewlett-Packard in 1983 as a Staff Engineer, where they focused on enhancing operating system performance and delivering training to HP Field Support personnel. In 1991, they joined Taos as the Director of Educational Services, responsible for course design and development. Later, they founded the UNIX Educational Services Department at Taos Mountain and served as the VP of Educational Services, overseeing all aspects of the training business. In 1999, Chick Webb founded The Webb Group, an Educational Services Company that specialized in web-based technology training. As the President and CEO, they led the design and development of web and classroom-based courses. In 2005, they worked as an Educational Services Consultant as a sole proprietor. Finally, Chick Webb joined Power Integrations, Inc. in 2006 as the Senior Worldwide Online Marketing Manager, where they led a global team responsible for the company's online presence and marketing campaigns. Chick successfully developed community-oriented websites and deployed an enterprise-scale web platform.

Chick Webb completed their high school education from Maine North High School, earning a HS Diploma in 1978. Afterward, they attended Purdue University from 1978 to 1980, focusing on Physics. Later, Chick enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from 1980 to 1982.
