Faraaz Saiyed

Faraaz Saiyed has a strong background in test development and engineering. Faraaz started their career at Maxim Integrated Products in 2006 as a Test Systems Development Engineer, where they played a crucial role in various development and support tasks for the Audio Amplifiers division. Faraaz'sresponsibilities included creating C++ code and utilizing Pads Powerlogic to generate design hardware, parts, and software for production testing. Faraaz also conducted testing and troubleshooting to ensure that new parts met specifications. In 2011, Faraaz joined Philips Lumileds as a Sr. Test Development Engineer, focused on LED light measurements and test support. Faraaz calibrated Instrument System spectrometers using NIST traceable LED samples and GRR procedures and evaluated tests and calibrations based on various factors like color points, Ldom, Lpk, CCT, CRI, etc. In 2013, Faraaz moved to Power Integrations as a Test Development Manager, specializing in high-power ICs for HB-LED drivers, AC-DC chargers, and IGBT drivers. Faraaz'sresponsibilities included developing ATE hardware/software for silicon test and high-volume manufacturing, as well as Partial Discharge and Hi-Pot Testing for isolation testing.
