Aissa Touahria has a diverse and extensive work experience in various companies and roles. They started their career at Sonatrach in 1998 as the Head of Department for Strategy and Corporate Planning, where they were responsible for strategic planning, budget consolidation, assets management, and economic evaluations. They then joined McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager in the Energy & Mining Practice from 2008 to 2012. At SAP, Aissa served as a Program Manager for Business Transformation and Value Engineering in the Oil & Gas and Power sectors in the MENA region from 2012 to 2014. They later worked at Deloitte Consulting as a Director in Business Consulting for the Energy, Resources & Industrials sector from 2015 to 2017. Aissa then joined PwC Middle East & Africa as a Director of Strategy & Business Consulting from 2018 to 2020. Currently, Aissa is the Chief Investment Officer and Group Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer at Power International Holding, where they are responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of investment ventures, structuring project finance strategies, and leading strategic planning processes for the group.
Aissa Touahria's education history includes an MBA from emlyon business school. They also have a Master's degree in Corporate Finance from IFID Tunis and a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Applied Mathematics from Université des Sciences et de la Technologie 'Houari Boumediène'. Additionally, they obtained a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the same university.
